I want to thank all the people that are special to me and my family...Melissa, Joy, June and Kitty and all the others that played a part in the team work with helping my father. Thanks very, very much for all that you did! I love you all.
I don’t know how we would have managed without their loving care.

A very aware type of care was illustrated. Much compassion was given to my mother as well as myself. I could not have provided the kind of care needed by myself. I will be forever grateful. My prayers are with you all.
Charles M. of Conway, SC
I just want to say, the nurses and aides that took care of my dad were amazing. When my father died, the nurse was here so fast, I wasn't alone when he died, and that was my biggest fear.
Our family was so very blessed by the outstanding and loving care our Mom received from all who were associated with Mercy Care. We would highly recommend their care to anyone and thank God for each person who cared for our mother. Thank you Mercy Care.
Marie, Conway, SC
My husband was home in three hours after the first phone call. Mercy Care was a GOD-send. THANK YOU!

Just want to thank Mercy Care for all the love and care they showed my Aunt for the five months she was in their care. Our family could have not been equipped or prepared to handle it all during the time of my Aunt's sickness and death without their help. Thank you for all you do.

We were so impressed/blessed with the hospice staff. We did an emergency admission on a Sunday (which I know is no easy feat) and the straightforward assessment given us by the hospice nurse (Paula) enabled us to plan for my mom's imminent death. We were able to get her family around her and make her comfortable before she did.
Melissa L. from MD
Couldn't have done it without them! Prompt medical attention was always there; especially at the end when more stronger drugs were needed to make my mom comfortable until the end.
Ann Z. of Conway, SC

"They were all very professional and caring people. The admitting nurse, Karen Cox was very helpful in getting him on a schedule with pain medications to help with the pain. Rondora was there the next day to get us anything we might need for Jimmy and she was so good with him. Justin came to see and talk with us and to let us know he was there for us. Also, Mrs. Kitty Boyd was such as delight to come and check on us. We were very impressed with Mercy and would highly recommend them to other people".

"We could not have taken care of my mother the way she needed to be taken care if it wasn't for the support and aid we received from Mercy Care. With their quick actions to medical equipment and medications, we were able to care for her (in her home) with the respect and dignity she deserved."
Pamela from Myrtle Beach, SC
I must say that the Mercy Care team is my friend. Every one of them became like a big brother/sister to us, as they were concerned, caring and always willing to help.

"I would like to thank all the caring people who helped me and my mother at the time when we needed help the most. God Bless all of you from my heart!"
Lisa from Conway, SC
Hi Siri, just a note to express our sincere thanks to you! You are a wonderful, caring woman who does her job "SO GOOD"! Mama really liked you and was so appreciative for the help that you gave her and for the listening ears that you had to talk to her! The care that you provided was excellent, and she did improve for awhile! Dr. Sasser and the other staff of Palliative Care were all wonderful and do their jobs "SO GOOD" also! Our family extend our thanks to all of you! Mama just wouldn't accept that she had the respiratory disease. She's in Heaven at rest and in no pain now, though. She joined our dad who passed away in OK on June 17, 2013. The family went to OK during the week of June 17th to attend the services for dad, not realizing nor knowing that after June 25th, mama wouldn't be with us anymore either! It's a very hard and difficult time for our families, but the Lord will give us the strength and the courage to handle this sad time in our lives. Our dad and our mom loved people and wanted to help people too! On behalf of our entire family, we thank you for the beautiful card and the note. I believe that you know my daughter-in-law, I think you saw her in the hospital room. She's so strong herself, but on June 25th, it was very hard on her too, mom treated her like a granddaughter! She, like all of you others, are very dedicated, caring great people and staff of Conway Medical Center! She's in the Operating Room. I'm enclosing to comfort you and your other patients and families in mama's memory, a copy of her favorite poem-Pathway of Pain. Please share it with the other staff of Mercy's Palliative Care. May the copies made help comfort others. Take Care! May God Bless Each of you...Today-Tomorrow-Forever

When Mercy Care took over my husband's care he was so happy and relieved. His fear of pain was taken away and his doctor and nurse were angels. They were there for us every step of the way. His death was peaceful and he was lying in his own bed with me beside him. I can never thank Mercy Care enough for their loving concern for both of us.
Janet, Conway, SC

I would like to personally thank everyone that paid their last respects to Mom. I was with her for 13 years and my house is now empty. I miss her pretty face and walking by her bed all during the day to rub her forehead and give her a kiss. Anyone that knew her knew that she never met a stranger and would pray even though she didn't know your need, and never asked, because she knew God knew, and she would pray for yo asking God to help you. I am having a hard time today and ask that everyone pray for me and help me get over this emptiness that I am feeling. I trust that I made her comfortable in her last days and thankful to my personal caregivers at Hospice for taking such loving care of her. She was truly blessed to have such wonderful Christian people to help with her last journey--- to heaven. Family is the most valuable thing that you can have in life and something that can never be replaced. Take time out during the day to hug your parents, your children and recognize other family members. God is good and he loves everyone and does not show any difference in anyone, but will hold you in his arms for comfort. I know that Mamma will still wrap her arms around me and comfort me as I still live in this mortal world. She will always be in my heart and I hope to see her face again one day, as I can no longer see it now. Even in her last days, know that she never cried, but had a smile and laughter for everyone. She would even offer to share her meal with you. To share with you, she thanked me about a month ago. "Thank you for taking care of me" and just last week she held my hand and, "I love you."
I was very satisfied with their care to the point I send a letter to The Sun News to express my gratitude and they published the letter.
