Spiritual Care

“In the midst of winter I discovered that there was in me an invincible summer.”
                                                             ~ Albert Camus

Spiritual care is an important part of the Mercy Hospice and Palliative Care experience. Spiritual Care services are available to all Mercy Hospice and Palliative Care patients and families of all faith belief systems and to those without a structured belief system.

As one prepares to make the transition from life to death, there are often many emotions and questions, as well as fear and anticipation of the unknown. Spiritual Care services are available to provide supportive counseling and prayer to patients and families as issues related to the end of life are explored in non-judgemental and open conversations.

We at Mercy Hospice and Palliative Care are pleased to present to the families, physicians, and volunteers of our community our New Resource section. By clicking the bolded links, you will be redirected to our newest resource sections, addressing emotional and spiritual issues, providing insightful articles and helpful links to national, state, and local programs available in our community.

Don’t worry, there will be an easy return right back to Mercy’s home page!
