Ann Boutcher
Patient Volunteer of the Quarter
This quarter Mercy Hospice salutes Ann Boutcher for her outstanding service and patient care. Ann moved to Conway with her husband, Don, after retiring from nursing fourteen years ago. She is the proud mother of two and loves her role as grandmother to her three grandchildren. As a nurse, Ann worked in the OBGYN area of health care and now she is working in the end-of-life care. Ann is very active in her church, St. Paul’s Episcopal Church of Conway. In September, she is embarking on a two-year study program to become a deacon in her church. Ann’s true passion is pastoral care. She visits all of Mercy’s patients that are sent to Conway Medical Center. Ann tells us, “It is very rewarding being with the families at this time in their lives.”
It is a true gift to be able to work with Ann and we here at Mercy are blessed that she shares those gifts with the patients and caregivers as well as the employees.
