2nd Quarter Volunteer Spotlight ... Rosemary Harper

Rosemary Harper

Upon retiring from the American Chamber of Commerce Executive Association in Northern Virginia fifteen years ago, Rosemary Harper and her husband, Don, moved to the Myrtle Beach area. For the past fourteen and a half years, Rosemary has been an active volunteer for Mercy Hospice. She has volunteered her time and energy to community education, various projects including our Mardi Gras fundraiser, and has been the liaison for Mercy and the Physician’s community. She has also served on the Mercy Hospice Foundation Board.

Rosemary and Don reside in the Prestwick Country Club area and Rosemary is definitely a “people person”. She also enjoys tennis and cross-stitching.

“I have found volunteering to be a very rewarding experience. I have received back far more than I have given. I have enjoyed working with Mercy Hospice over the years, getting to know the staff, I have made many memories and friends.”

Mercy would like to thank Rosemary for her dedication, hard work, and many contributions!
